This was one great bike that Yamaha came out with. A great Chopper style bike at less than half the price. Read Full Review I owned the 2008 Star Raider. This bike could run straight up a wall if you could only balance it on it's rear tire long enough. Overall, those used to the handling foibles of custom-style cruisers will likely find the Raider easier to herd around than those other similarly styled bikes. Yamaha didn't shortchange the new Star on brakes, either. Up front, there are two 11.7-inch .
